NIGHTMARE. We took our Husky to this Hospital last Monday Night and was the worst experience on my life with a veterinary clinic, ended with our Husky death and My Wife and Son in Shock, is Thursday now and My Wife still in Depression, we took the Husky there Because had Diarrhea, High fever and Vomit, BUT I THINK IF WE DON'T TAKE THE DOG THERE AND TREAT AT HOME MAYBE HE CAN STILL ALIVE...... Whe we get there he was awake and can move and he left that place in a Box........take more than 1 hour for see him and never start a Fever medication on Him MY GRANDMA CAN IDENTIFY A FEVER BETTER THAN THE DOCTOR THERE...... BEFORE START ANY MEDICATION THEY ASK FOR $1500. WHEN WE FINALLY PAY THE MONEY THEY START THE BLOOD TEST ,BUT DON'T GIVE ANY MEDICATION YET, ANY FEW MINUTES LATER COME WITH ANOTHER $10,000 ESTIMATE , I TOLD THE PEOPLE THIS IS RIDICULOUS, I WANT TO TAKE MY DOG BACK HOME AND TREAT THERE UNTIL THE MORNING WHEN MY VET COME HOME, JUST GIVE HIM SOMETHING FOR HIGH FEVER ..... ONE OF THE WORST THING THERE WAS THE DOCTOR LOOKS SHE CRY WHEN SHE TALK AND WAS HARD TO UNDERSTAND WHAT SHE SAID LOOKS LIKE SHE WAS IN SHOCK AND DON'T HAVE IDEA WHAT SHE DOING......we were waiting for they release our Dog , But they changed the Doctor and she said the Dog is Very Bad and have seizures,OF COURSE HE GOT SEIZURES IF YOU NEVER TREAT THE HIGH FEVER MY GRANDMA UNDERSTAND THAT BETTER.....SO WE SAW THE DOG AND HE LOOKS PRETTY BAD AND IN A LOT OF PAIN, HIS HEART WAS CLOSE TO FAILURE, AND THE NEW VET LOOKS WAY BETTER THAN THE LAST ONE AND SHE OFFER FREE EUTHANIZE FOR HIM , MAYBE SHE has to pay from her pocket....ON THIS DAYS IS HARD TO FIND PEOPLE WHO REALLY LOVES WHAT THEY DOING, THE MONEY IS MATTER MORE THAN A DOG LIFE THIS IS A RIDICULOUS BUSINESS, WHEN YOU LOVE YOUR JOB THE MONEY COME LIKE CRAZY TOO WHEN YOU PUT 💯 ON WHAT YOU DOING WITHOUT THINK IN MONEY YOU GONNA HAVE A GREAT LIFE, BUT WHEN YOU PUT MONEY FIRST IN ONE POINT YOU GONNA FAIL SO DEEP.......... ANYWAY NOTHING BRINGS OUR HUSKY BACK I'M A CHRISTIAN MAN I DON'T HATE I JUST SAID WHAT I THINK AND I LEFT EVERYTHING IN GOD HANDS 🙏 I KNOW OUR HUSKY IS IN A BETTER PLACE NOW,WE ADOPTED HIM FROM THE CITY SHELTER 7 MONTHS AGO AFTER HE WAS TAKED BACK TWICE HE REALLY LOVES OUR FAMILY.......BUT ANYWAY MY ONLY CONCERN NOW IS MY WIFE AND SON DEPRESSION BECAUSE THEY THINK WE CAN SO SOMETHING BETTER FOR HIM ,BUT ANYWAY I JUST LEAVE EVERYTHING IN GODS HANDS🙏
I would avoid this facility at all costs. While the frontline staff is caring, the management and corporate structure are entirely broken, resulting in a facility that can barely operate due to massive understaffing.
I have owned dogs with epilepsy, a dog with a brain tumor, and have dealt with my share of middle-of-the-night emergencies. This is, by far, the worst veterinary ER experience I have ever had.
We arrived after calling ahead. My husband waited in the car with our dog while I went inside. Staff told us to bring him in, only to immediately inform us we would have to wait because of a nervous cat. (I do not take my dog into the waiting room because she just wants to play with all the sick dogs)
Two hours later, I went to the front desk to ask for an update. The receptionist asked who my pet was and if they were even in the building. They had completely forgotten about us. Once they realized their mistake, we were in a room within five minutes.
We were quoted $700 to $800 just for the exam and X-rays, which are substantially overpriced because they have to outsource the reading. Because our regular vet was closed, we had no choice but to agree. We were told it would be a "bit" of a wait. Two hours later, we were told more critical cases came in. 20 minutes after that, they finally took her back.
Our dog had ingested rocks and was hospitalized. I was explicitly promised updates the following day. Nobody ever called. I had to call them repeatedly for information, and eventually, I just showed up at the facility later in the day to find out my dog was cleared to go home.
The following Sunday evening, my dog began vomiting. Because the only other emergency vet in the area was actively refusing patients, we were forced to come back here. It was a replication of the first visit: a several-hour wait with zero communication.
At around 2:00 AM, they informed us it was going to be a while because two critical emergencies had just come in. I completely understand that trauma cases must always be the number one priority. I would want the same for my dog. Because of this, we asked to just take our dog home and have them call us with the results. However, the operational chaos was so bad that it took them an additional hour just to let us leave with our dog and provide the results.
It begs the question: If this facility is so deeply understaffed that they cannot handle basic diagnostic turnarounds or simple discharges when emergencies arise, should they even be open to non-trauma cases?
This clinic charges premium, inflated prices for significantly less service. Out of curiosity, I checked their careers page. They are hiring, but the wages they offer for such a high-stress, difficult job compared to the astronomical prices they charge patients is absolutely ridiculous. Corporate is clearly pocketing the profits while leaving patients neglected and staff overworked. I feel terrible for the workers here, and even worse for the animals who aren't getting the care they deserve.
I will try the drive to santa fe instead
Went in at 2am, 15 min wait, friendly staff, vet was professional and answered my many questions. Itemized list of actions they could take was explained with lower/higher cost options presented. Couldn’t imagine a better experience. Thanks again.
Last night, my boyfriend and I brought in an injured dog after finding him on the side of the road. Unfortunately, despite everyone’s hard work and ability to jump into a critical situation, he did not survive. Even though the outcome was heartbreaking, I wanted to take a moment to thank the staff for the compassion, care, and professionalism they showed. We didn’t know this dog for very long, but we couldn’t just drive by and leave him there. The way your team treated him with kindness, dignity, and empathy during such a difficult situation was truly admirable. Thank you for being there for Ralph when he needed help the most. While he may not have survived his injuries, knowing he was no longer suffering brought us some comfort. Please don’t stop doing what you do. Even when the days are hard, even when cases don’t have the outcome everyone hopes for, and even when it feels like your work goes unnoticed, please know that it matters. The compassion and dedication your team showed left a lasting impression on us, and we are deeply grateful.
Thank you for everything you do for the animals and people in our community.
I had an amazing experience even though I was here for an emergency. They treated me and my dogs with respect, care, and the upmost courtesy. From the receptionist that I talked to when I called, the security guard, to the first intake person, the vet tech, the vet, and everybody that I came into touch with that worked at this amazing clinic, I am grateful for the experience, they made the emergency so much better. I highly recommend them.
