Excellent customer service greated by a great smile from the front desk Paula. She was so kind, nice and even though I was early, she had no hesitation to get me started with paperwork for my dogs first well checkup visit. Shortly after Ms. Nov♡ Vet Tect who welcomed us was such kind support to get started with the exam and all questions where ready gor the Dr. Felicia who also greated with such "True Kind" Love as a nicely tone care to answer all my questions of concern and how she handled her time with us was greatly appreciated. We left knowing we have our "New" established Veterinarian #1 care for my Dog. God's Blessings, Respectfully- Y.dolphin

Absolutely horrible AVOID: Took my beloved senior dog Bucky to De Anza on Monday 3/9/26 he died Wednesday morning 3/11/26 at home. We did not know what was wrong with him, he was lethargic, dizzy and stopped eating very sick. Blood test performed showed kidney problems. Dr? was not helpful at all she showed me the blood test paperwork and only explained the Kidney issue and mentioned his heart sounded good in very vague detail, she may have spent a total of 8 minutes with us nothing else on the form explained in detail and no positive medical suggestions offered! I asked about options and treatments, she mentioned euthanasia or start treatments giving me absolutely no detailed explanation about what kind of treatments or what was involved for his kidney problem. I asked what do you suggest given the dogs age? Really got know helpful affirmative response. There was absolutely nothing done for my dog, no X-rays, no antibiotic medication no further steps suggested or initiated only blood test and a estimate showing $800 that was not explained to me! in addition to this Dr seemed to be in a hurry showed absolutely no caring or compassionate demeanor. I sincerely believe with God as my witness my dog would still be alive had I chose another vet that would have truly cared and tried to help my best friend. I received no help no suggestions, no encouragement or plan of action from this place on what to do that would help! He may just have had a kidney infection they did not check. After reading the response and receiving a phone call from Dr? Otero, I strongly disagree that antibiotics and fluid therapy were offered to me, if so I didn't understand or they weren't explained properly, I do not understand medical terminology printed out from a computer I would not have declined any treatments for Bucky had I understood very confusing. I would have done anything to save his life? The problem with this clinic is the lack of clear and concise explanation, options not clearly defined or confusing and no explanation if treatments would have made a difference at the time of visit I would not have declined any treatments had I understood and had clearer explanation. No compassion whatsoever! The severity of his situation was not explained. If you love your pet stay away from this place!! And regarding Oteros consulting with family comment I was very devastated and sad and wanted to get Bucky to another vet asap unfortunately he didn't have time! Because In addition to all there failures the vet tech actually drew blood from Bucky twice because she failed the first time! And the lady at the front desk lost is favorite blanket he had for years after he passed, I told her clearly I wanted it back, they lost it and she had the audacity to offer me another dogs blanket unbelievable! No pain management and suffering ease solutions were also never offered or discussed!

I love this clinic! Very sweet and professional- they were so gentle with my dog. Also they gave me a free exam since I had just adopted her! And I appreciated how there were different options for flea and tick and heart worm meds.

I recently adopted a stray puppy who was found and I brought him to De Anza Animal Clinic, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care he received. From the moment he arrived, the entire staff treated him with compassion and professionalism, making sure he was healthy, up to date on everything he needed, and ready for his new home. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about the well-being of the animals they serve. They took the time to answer my questions and made me feel confident that my new pup was in great hands. It’s comforting to know there is a clinic like De Anza Animal Clinic that I can rely on for my pet’s healthcare needs.
