Dr. Ortiz is loving and compassionate. The staff are also very nice. Our new puppy was cared for and we were educated on her illness. Thank you all at Abq Pet Care for all the patience you had with us as well as our puppy.

So glad we found ABQ Pet Care at Eubank & Candelaria! Found them on a web search, they had same day availability, and great recent web reviews. It was easy to schedule the appt online, you don't have to wait for the office to open in the morning to call - just schedule anytime, online. Easy to fill out the online intake form. We got a SAME DAY appt! Upon arrival, front desk was friendly and helpful, the vet tech was AWESOME (I've been to many vets over the years and she was the BEST I've ever encountered). We happened to get Dr. Hennessey and she was GREAT! We left our pooch there and within the hour after we left (wow!) Dr. Hennessey did surgery on his paw. Starting with the 8:30am appt we had him back, post-op, by noon. Also, a written estimate that you sign before they do anything, so no surprise bills. Reasonable prices, no gouging. (You could pay a whole lot more at one of the vet 'emergency' places, and also have to wait a while!) The tech called the next day to check on our pooch. We'll take both of our doggies from now on to ABQ Pet Care for everything! I've already told several dogowner friends about our great experience and to go to ABQ Pet Care!

So they lied about the prices my dog was supposed to have a free exam but then the last set of shots they charge for a second exam which isn't needed within a 30-day period... Took advantage of my son and him never having a pet before. Now he's short on rent. Misrepresenting pricing until your already in there and they have your dog in the back is diabolical.
